Amino Acids and Whey Protein

There are 20 amino acids that the body uses to make proteins, of which nine are 'essential', meaning that they cannot be produced by the body and must be obtained through the diet. Whey Protein contains all nine essential amino acids, making it an ideal option for those looking to increase their protein intake.
In addition to fast acting Whey Protein, Wellman Restore contains an additional source of branched-chain amino acids, including the essential amino acids L-Valine, L-Leucine and L-Isoleucine, providing a total of 14.4g of protein per serving.
